Refund policy
At Elephant Joy, we want every stationery lover to feel happy with their purchase.
If you change your mind, our return process is simple, transparent, and fair.
Returns
- We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
- A flat return shipping fee of AU$5.00 applies (this will be deducted from your refund).
- No restocking fees will be charged.
- Refunds apply to the product price only (original delivery fees are non-refundable).
- We currently do not offer exchanges — only refunds are available.
How to Return
Please contact us at Elephant Joy with:
- Your order number and purchase date
- Your full name and contact information
- A short description of the issue + photos (if applicable)
We’ll reply with easy return instructions and a return shipping label.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds are usually completed within 7–10 business days from the date your return is initiated.
This period includes the time for the parcel to be returned to us (usually 2–3 business days)
and for us to process and issue your refund (typically 3–5 business days).
Please note that the time for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.
Not Eligible for Return
- Items that have been used or damaged (not our fault)
- Opened pens, inks, or washi tapes
- Customised or personalised stationery
- Items returned after 14 days
Note: We do not have “Final Sale” items — all products are eligible for return under our standard policy.
Damaged or Broken Items
If your order arrives damaged, please email us with clear photos.
We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost — no need to return the damaged item.
